Creativity

eaglewood folk festival is an all canadian 3 day event at the end of August. On their website you will find a radio and you can listen to many awesomely talented local artists. I recommend Adam Bailie, Kinni Star and Digging Roots.

You can listen to me on youtube if you search "Transition Revolution" or lalajane. You can even subscribe to my channel if you like!

Here are the lyrics to my latest song....

Sometimes I wanna cry 'cause we hurt the earth and I don't know why.
And sometimes I wanna cry with tears of joy and tears of pride.
'cause there are people on this planet who are dreaming and who are planning
and we're dreaming of transition
and we are planning a revolution

Start your gardens. stop your cars.
Start walking. we can get there it ain't far.
Know your neighbours. Love the place you live.
Don't be selfish. You've got a lot to give.

Use less water. Use more sunshine.
Don't be wasteful. Use the gift of time.
We use clothes lines. We've got smile lines.
I use olive oil. Don't depend on oil.

Habitat for Humanity. Good Will. Salvation Army.
Hybrid taxis. Cotton maxis. Recycled clothing. It's all about knowing!

That there are people on this planet who are dreaming and who are planning.
And we are dreaming of transition
AND WE ARE PLANNING A REVOLUTION!!!!

If you have lyrics that you'd like to add to this song just send them to me :)

Shine on,

daughter of a thousand generations,
Send your light forth into this tired world…

Shine on,
sister of a thousand dreams,
Tend to those dreams
with strength and courage…

Shine on,
 woman of a thousand hopes,
Show everyone the beauty
within you..
The beauty that comes
from knowing who you are.

Shine on…
Shine on…
This tired world needs you.

Author unknown but thanked!

If you hear music … dance!
If you don’t hear music … sing!
If you walk barefoot
along the path of the heart,
your singing will not awaken
the sleepers nor will your
dancing disturb the self-righteous.
But the bird will follow you
and take from your hand
some crumbs and
sing to you their truth.
